The buzz coming from the motor industry at the moment is all about the connected and autonomous car. It’s about how greater connectivity will enhance passenger car and light commercial vehicle usage, improve journey times and enhance the driving experience – even how cars can improve the well-being of drivers and passengers.
Meanwhile autonomous cars will take the drudgery out of driving in city and motorway conditions, leading to safer vehicles and fewer accidents. But what is a connected car? How does an autonomous car drive itself? What does it mean for fleets and drivers?
