It’s official – we are the best company to work for in Scotland.

Yeeeesssss!

I can’t tell you how proud I am for the staff and managers here at Fleet Alliance.

The beaming faces that have graced the workplace since we found out last week have been great to see.

The award was presented by the independent Great Place to Work Institute – you can read the story and why we won in full here: Fleet Alliance voted best company to work at in Scotland.

I always think a happy workplace makes for a better company.

So, yes, lots of happy faces around the Fleet Alliance HQ.

I like to thing they are a reflection of what we’re trying to achieve here: a balance between a professional workplace which takes customer satisfaction very seriously, and a workforce that doesn’t take itself seriously.

I always think a happy workplace makes for a better company – and it’s something the Institute noted in its citation.

So while last year 96% of our fleet leasing orders were delivered successfully, with 100% customer satisfaction, our team has been able to raise fantastic funds for our chosen charities, and added to the workplace camaraderie with Friday pizza days, Onesie charity days (I duck out of those!) and those all important moments when the chocolate comes out (probably my favourite).

It’s a happy mix. And long may it continue!
