We’ve done it again! Fleet Alliance is A Great Place to Work – officially.

We’ve been certified A Great Place to Work before by the Great Place to Work Institute – this is the 14th time in fact – but that doesn’t make it any less important, or that we take certification for granted.

Far from it.

Creating the right work environment is key to customer satisfaction and business success.

Research shows that the correct employee environment boosts team spirit, provides a bedrock for better productivity and creativity, aids mental wellbeing and engenders strong employee loyalty.

We would agree.

According to A Great Place to Work, 79% of employees think Fleet Alliance is a great place to work compared with a typical UK company where the satisfaction level is only 54%. What’s more, 82% of responses to the Institute’s survey of our employees were positive.

Great place to work stats

This positive working environment at Fleet Alliance is underpinned by the four pillars of fairness, trust, engagement and respect that collectively sit under Fleet Alliance Loves, a set of values that informs behaviour both within the workplace and into wider society through acts of fundraising or charity work. For example, Fleet Alliance has raised a total of £62,496 so far this year through acts of charity,  and engaging in society beyond the office walls.

A great benefits package

A Great Place to Work wouldn’t be the case if there didn’t exist a compelling benefits package. There are many advantages to working at Fleet Alliance, not least its location close by Glasgow’s vibrant West End.

But employees value everything from our flexible benefits package – employees pick and choose the benefits that work for them (for example a gym membership or Netflix subscriptions), plus the regular breakfast and lunch events we put on to encourage greater team social interaction.

In 2025 we also introduced a range of new wellbeing related benefits

These new benefits include some additional home working each month on top of the two days a week hybrid working that is already provided.

For Christmas we are having a family Christmas movie day to bring team members and their families together for a festive day! For this we have hired out a cinema in Glasgow city centre allowing team members to bring up to four guests. Food and drinks will be provided – along with popcorn, of course!

So we want to give our employees a great experience working with us, and provide them with the best working environment possible. In turn we believe they provide excellent customer service which underpins our business and which has led us to win recently both the Business Car Best Fleet Management Company 2025 award and the Broker News Best SME Fleet Broker 2025 award, in addition to being certified a Best Workplace For Woman 2025 and a Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance.

Creating the right working conditions is essential for success – and we’re very proud that it has been recognised in the Best Place to Work 2025.
