The Problem
Eurocell Plc is a publicly quoted company and the UK’s leading manufacturer, distributor, and recycler of UPVC windows, doors, conservatories, and related building products. It operates a fleet of around 400+ company cars and commercial vehicles, with 50% of its fleet vans used to support the delivery of the company’s specialist products to trade and retail customers across the UK. Eurocell had managed its entire fleet internally; however, as its fleet experienced rapid growth, the demands lay heavily on its internal management and resources, which proved to be time-consuming and costly.
Our Solution
As part of transitioning Eurocell to our outsourced fleet management model, we implemented our cloud-based fleet management and reporting platform, e-Fleet. The system now holds comprehensive data on Eurocell’s entire vehicle fleet and plays an integral role in day-to-day fleet oversight.
e-Fleet
e-Fleet platform provides 24/7 access to fleet information from any device—enabling greater operational control while reducing administrative workload and associated costs. Its flexibility also allows for effective fleet management across multiple funding providers.
Additionally, e-Fleet’s robust reporting tools enable the generation of tailored reports on a range of key metrics, including vehicle condition, mileage tracking, and compliance reporting such as P46, P11D, and MID.
Eurocell drivers have reported a marked improvement in their overall experience since the implementation of e-Fleet. The system, combined with the support and communication from the multi-award-winning Fleet Alliance team—especially regarding key tasks like MOTs and servicing—has made it easier for drivers to manage their company vehicles. - The ability for drivers to input mileage on e-Fleet allows for producing convenient and accurate odometer mileage recordings and predictive mileage reports. This allows for mileages to be adjusted where e-Fleet’s predictive mileage technology indicates the likelihood of costly mileage overruns.
- The average CO2 remains well below the UK average for company cars. The ongoing goal is to increase the percentage of electrified vehicles to benefit from tax efficiencies and reduced driver fuel costs.
