What will I be doing?

To manage a portfolio of current Introduced SME clients (Fleet Size less than 20) and Personal Contract Hire renewal business. Process all proposals and orders, as well as support the Fleet Alliance Account Managers with any day to day general enquiries or management of Introducer Accounts. You will also provide a link between clients, introducers of business and funders and in conjunction with other team members, provide a general support service where required.

What are the core parts of the job?

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
  • Offer advice on the best funding method to clients.
  • Run quotes across all funders and provide these quotes to clients.
  • Process all incoming credit proposals.
  • Create relevant deal files for accepted orders.
  • Provide a link between AR and funder during the proposal stage.
  • Work in conjunction with the department manager to monitor and maintain set business income, units and FSP targets.
  • Manage and promote quarterly sales incentives.
  • Manage and maximise all renewal opportunities.
  • Source new business opportunities.
  • Upload new deals onto a database before passing to sales support.
  • Liaise with supplying dealers where appropriate.
  • Ensure all activity targets and database management is maintained.
  • Work in conjunction with the Sales Director, to monitor and maintain set business income, units and FSP targets.
  • Manage and maximise all renewal opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales support on all areas of client business.
  • The role will involve working closely with the sales support team to provide a complete
  • service package to all clients.
  • The Account Manager will be expected to constantly monitor service levels, deal processing procedures and sales performance with a view to enhancing all areas where possible.
  • Provide support to other members of the department where required.

What skillset will I need?

  • Sales experience, preferably within a similar setting, is essential.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload, with support of course from your Line Manager, and your colleagues if needed.
  • As you will be in regular contact with customers, and your team across the business, then it’s important you are able to communicate with both internal and external people – this could be face to face, via email, Teams (or Zoom) or on the phone.
  • Attention to detail is a core part of the role and to ensure we have a smooth sales process, is essential.
  • There are systems to navigate, both our own internal system and some 3rd party funder systems too, as well as using Microsoft products such as Office, Word, Outlook, Excel – therefore a level of competence in these areas would be desirable.
