Our buying model capitalises on our ability to source vehicles at the lowest possible cost and in turn attaching that cost to the lowest funding cost that we can source from our selected panel of market leading finance partners.

Our procurement model has two principal components:

Reduced asset costs

Every year, Fleet Alliance sources and funds thousands of vehicles. In doing so we are able to take advantage of economies of scale by negotiating buying terms (discounts) with each manufacturer resulting in a decreased asset cost. The manner in which we secure discounts from manufacturers is vital to our buying model. Indeed, our most recent internal survey revealed that in 70% of cases, we buy vehicles more cost effectively than bank owned leasing companies. Cost savings that are always passed on to our clients.

Real-time pricing model

One of our key strengths of Fleet Alliance is our real-time pricing model. Working on your behalf we regularly test the market and are able to highlight, across a selection of vehicles, the cost differentiations that exist between suppliers.

For example, one of our recent surveys revealed that across a selection of 6 of our finance partners and a basket of 10 vehicles the difference in average rentals are as follows:

The difference between first and second most competitive was £7.60*. Multiplied across a 50 vehicle fleet over a 3 year contract equates to £13,680.

  The difference between the most competitive and least competitive was £63*. Multiplied across a 50 vehicle fleet over a 3 year contract this equates to a potential over spend of £113,400.

Contract Hire is a service and as such varies from provider to provider. By having a number of finance partners, we are able to move freely between them when required. By quoting for every vehicle we source at the point of order, we offer real time/live pricing – this ensures that you get the most competitive rate available for every vehicle we procure.

Furthermore, our clients receive a minimum of four quotations selected from our market leading panel of finance partners, allowing clients to view the transparency in our pricing and the cost savings that are being made.
