Fleet Alliance launches new Fleet Repair service
7 November 2011
Vehicle funding and fleet management specialist, Fleet Alliance, is offering fleet operators a new fleet repair service including an end-of-contract vehicle inspection which could potentially save them thousands in repair costs.
The new fleet repair service, Fleet Repair, is in conjunction with the UK’s largest automotive repair group, Nationwide Accident Repair Services plc.
Nationwide offers complete accident management plus fixed-site and mobile repairs through its extensive approved repair network, including 70 wholly-owned centres, dedicated mobile glass repair, and a fleet of market-leading mobile repair vans.
The new end-of-contract inspection costs just £35 per vehicle and is one of an array of fleet repair works available on a menu-pricing basis, ranging from repairing a small scratch to a major repair following a serious accident.
The new Fleet Repair service is intended to help fleet operators avoid unwanted and unbudgeted end-of-contract-charges from their leasing suppliers by keeping fleet vehicles in good condition all the way through their contracted fleet lives.
With this new partnership with Nationwide, Fleet Alliance Fleet Repair gives fleet operators access to the UK’s leading dedicated repair group, including the increasingly popular mobile repair option which enables work to be carried out at the customer’s premises in just one day where possible, saving inconvenience and vehicle off-road time. Together, Fleet Alliance and Nationwide can guarantee excellent service and value for money.
Fleet Alliance Managing Director, Martin Brown, said that Fleet Repair would allow fleet operators to work with Fleet Alliance to monitor the condition of their vehicles on an ongoing basis and avoid unexpected and unbudgeted costs at the end of their contracts.
“End-of-contract charges are a vexed issue for many fleet operators, but too many wait to the end of their vehicles’ contracts to find out how much they are going to be re-charged rather than take positive action.
“Now, with Fleet Repair, they don’t have to. Our end-of-contract inspection allows them to assess what damage, if any, has been done to their vehicles, and what the cost is to put it right.
“We then offer preferential rates which allow the repair work to be carried out quickly, efficiently and for as low a cost as possible.
“By taking such action regularly through the vehicle’s life cycle, fleet operators could potentially be saving thousands in repair costs and avoid hefty excess charges when the vehicle completes its contract and goes back to the leasing company,” he said.
Michael Wilmshurst, the Chief Executive of Nationwide, is delighted to be working with Fleet Alliance for this new service, “Fleet Repair offers businesses and fleet managers a comprehensive, tailor-made accident repair service, saving time, money and inconvenience. Fleet Alliance is a well respected name in the fleet market and we are delighted to be part of this exciting venture.”
